Lavender fields in Provence : where and when to see them ?
From late June to August, lavender fields in Provence are in full bloom. The most vibrant landscapes can be found around the Luberon and the countryside near Aix-en-Provence, where rolling hills turn deep purple under the summer sun.
Many travellers staying in Marseille choose to take a short bus ride to Aix-en-Provence (just 20 minutes away) to meet us and explore these blooming fields in a more rural setting.
